This is a group buy for registered participants with the 5th Virginia C.S. campaigner's for Cedar Mountain, 9-10 August 2025.
These are "authentic blanks" made to resemble the appearance of the historic rounds, but the "bullet" is simulated by a piece of foam. They are bundled into appropriately labeled 10-round packs and contain approximately 65 grains of black powder (or 80 grains for smoothbore cartridges) and are ready go directly into your cartridge box.
PRICES:
Rifle Blanks without caps: $10 per 10-round pack or group buy special of $35 for 40 rounds.
Rifle Blanks with 12 percussion caps (very limited quantities): $13 per pack
Smoothbore Blanks: $12 per 10-round pack

You may pick up your rounds at the shop in Gettysburg, PA, or collect your rounds at the event.
My friends Nick and Bryan will assist in distributing rounds at the event. Unfortunately the event falls during my 2-week annual Army Reserve training, so I regrettably cannot attend. Nick and Bryan are doing me a favor so they shouldn't be chasing anyone down for payment; please pay before the event!
Just arrived from the latest blockade runner. English ammunition was prized for its quality and consistency, but the cartridges are longer than U.S. style rounds. They will fit perfectly in an English import cartridge box but might be a tight fit in U.S. pattern boxes.
Standard cartridges made according to the old 1855 U.S. pattern which was continued by the early C.S. Ordnance Manual.
Enfield-style cartridges produced by the prolific Augusta Arsenal. I have a limited quantity of Augusta Arsenal bundles with tubes of 12 percussion caps.
For .69-cal smoothbores, with 80 grains of powder.
